Both of the times you are looking at include some of the fastest booking nights of the year. If you are looking at booking in June plan on stalking the website and waitlisting and being ready to book some nights on cash and some on points and keep working on it. The weekend in November with Veteran's day, the food and wine run, and is part of Jersey week is fully booked generally by the 6 month 29 day window. If you book November you may need to make a cash reservation for Nov 6 and 7 and then waitlist and stalk the website in hopes of getting something for that time.
The first of Dec is the fastest booked week of the year and the 2nd week is the 3rd fastest booked week of the year so both of those may be very spotty. You would probably find a lot more availability if you look at arriving around the 12-14 of Nov and staying until just before Thanksgiving for 2 weeks or booking the 3rd week of Dec (but any of the weeks around it will be very hard. Also if you want to book early Sept you would be more likely to find a couple of choices even in June.
Plan on taking whatever is available that you can afford and being willing to jump around a lot at first and then begin putting stays together through waitlisting and stalking if you want your preferred times.
