So I know it's Spring Break, but the kids are out of school and my husband's 40th birthday is March 26. So I want to plan a little weekend out there. Also my two boys will be 3 and 7. My 3 year old has never been.
So here are my details. We have to fly into the area, probably to LAX - tickets tend to be cheaper. I will probably do the Disneyland bus so I don't have to take car seats.
I think I want to stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Have only stayed at the Good Neighbor hotels, but since it's the hubby's 40th and we have a 3 year old I figured that Hotel would be convenient and fun.
I saw they have a 30% discount offered right now. The dates I'd chose to stay aren't blacked out, but when I called it still seemed high ($217 for the first night, and $242 for the other two nights for the standard room). Is that high? Should I just book that? I really wanted to upgrade to a pool view potential fireworks view. But man I expected more of a discount.
I also want to do 2-day hopper tickets. The package deal didn't include a discount on those so it's still $151 adult and $131 child. It seems like I can get a discount on these somewhere?
Should I book the bus with the hotel or should I do that separate? I think the girl said $114 for the bus roundtrip with everyone?
I think we want to do Goofy's Kitchen for dinner one night too.

Anyone have suggestions or costs savings with our trip and this hotel, tickets, transportations, airline, etc. I know it's his 40th birthday and all but I didn't want to break the bank.
I hope you experienced Disney travelers have some suggestions. Thanks.
