Trying to plan for late Jan 2008 - where to start

Hi there,

I am feeling really overwhelmed. We are trying to plan a trip to Disney for the end of January. Given that so many plan a year ahead, how do I quickly get this together. We will have a 4 yo son & 6 1/2 yo dd with us. We may have a rental at DVC through a friend. If that works out, what else do I need to think about with only 3 months to plan?

Pirate & Princess Party - worthwhile with such young children?
Character meals - anything available at this point?

Purchase a Walt Disney World guide book, preferably the Unofficial Guide, and begin reading. They will take you step by step through the learning process. Then come back to the DIS to clarify anything that you don't understand. I wish you the best and have a great time.
