Trying to plan ahead...advice needed.

So, we are coming up fast on my 7 month date to change my resort reservation. Thus far I have stayed at BWV, OKW, SSR and VWL. I really want to try all the resorts. So, I am having trouble deciding which resort to try for next.

BLT- sounds beautiful and my kids are young and being close to the MK seems like it would be nice. Although, I have heard the size of the studios are smaller than other resorts. Points are much higher too.

AKV- My kids like animals, but we do not like the dining options there.

BCV- I like the location and I think my kids will like the pool/swimming there.

So, what do you all think?

I have stayed at AKV and just bought a resale add on at BCV but have not stayed there yet. I liked AKV but we stayed in Jambo. We ate at Boma for dinner while staying there and even my picky kids like it and request to go back there every trip.

I think that you will have a hard time getting BCV at 7 months because it is one of the smaller resorts. Have read of people having luck with BLT at 7 months but I heard the same rumors about the size of the studios. Good luck

If you're planning to stay in all of them in a studio eventually, then maybe you should do BLT when your kids are younger since those studios are small.

If that doesn't sound good, then it looks like BCV is the one you should go for.

Any except BLT. Other than proximity and view of MK and BL, the theme just doesn't do it for me. Not having any services in the building is another issue. Currently most of the public door locks are bypassed and people are still waiting for 10 minutes to be let into the building. At the front door you need your room key to get in and there were 6 Cast Members locked out.

if I asked my kids, they would say Animal kingdom (they are 5 1/2 and 2 1/2.) they just love it there. Boma is amazing..there is so much diversity, everyone can find food..even kids bc they have mac and cheese, fried chicken etc. Their counter service place is yummy too. The feel of the Animal kingdom is just wonderful and the people are great. I have not stayed at kidani, only Jambo.

We love Beach Club too... but their counter service place is so small and they have practically nothing to eat. The walk to epcot is awesome!! We got Beach Club last May at 7 months.

Never been to BLT..hoping to go Dec 2010 at the 7 month window...we'll see.

I think you can't go wrong with AKV with small children. I haven't been there yet (and have heard all of the stories about lack of CS at Kidani), but we will be at Kidani next March and I'm not concerned. We eat in the room the majority of the time anyway (we get a 1BR). Since you are staying in a studio, I realize that you don't have that option.

Have you considered a split-stay so that you can do a little BLT and a little AKV or BCV? I may try a split-stay one of these days if I can't get my whole trip at one resort at 7 months. Not sure if I will like it, but I can do it at least once.
