Trying to plan a trip to Isreal need help

I will be going to Isreal in the next 1 1/2 to 2 years and am trying to find out what the fares are going to be and where I have to fly to and from to get there. I was wondering if anyone has any idea on what airlines go to Isreal and where the stops are. I am going to post this on the Community board but since I live in Ontario I was wondering if anyone from here would know how to get there from Canada.

I would think you would have to make a connection in London or some other city on route. I'm not sure of airline, but can check it out for you.

Thanks cabmom. I'm not sure what airlines to look for because any airline that I checked didn't seem to have any time available so I wasn't sure if they even went to Isreal.

El Al and Air Canada were sharing the route from YYZ to TLV. It is a non-stop flight to Tel Aviv. You should be able to get a rough price through any travel search engine such as Travelocity.ca, destina.ca or expedia.ca.

Israel (please note the spelling -- it does mean something in Hebrew) is a fairly specialist destination. Dan Tours (also operating as International Heritage Tours and under yet another name as a travel agency) is an excellent tour provider. Ari Bauer is one-in-a-million. Similarly, Aufgang Travel on Bathurst St. in Toronto specializes in travel to Israel.

It is a wonderful country filled with very friendly people -- whether they are Jewish, Christian or Muslim. Both Israeli and Palestinians welcomed me with open arms and a cup of coffee or Coke into their shops when I visited. The US$ is the de facto currency of choice across Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Take your chutzpah with you and prepare yourself for some great bargaining as you shop.

Thanks RoyalCanadian I will look into it further. Thank you correcting my spelling of Israel. I would not do anything to hurt someone elses country. I am going to see the Baha'i Holy places there.
