I know to bring the obvious things, shampoo, body wash, toothbrush & paste, etc. but what about other things.... Should I bring tylenol, band-aids, bacitracin, and other "just in case we might need it" stuff? What is a can't forget to pack item for toiletries?!
thanks!

I always pack those things (in the smallest version possible). I bring them in our carry on. Partly because I'm a tightwad and don't want to have to pay a ton in airports or Disney if we need them, and partly because it eases my mind to know they're readily available if we do.

I bring a tiny first aid kid (I think all thats in it anymore is an ointment, alcohol wipes, and bandaids), medicines (a little something for everything), etc. It all ends up fitting in a quart size ziploc anyway.

I agree, bring the bandaids & fever meds just in case. You don't want to pay Disney prices for the stuff if you should need it.

anti diarrhea meds too. And something for nausea, upset stomach. Maybe some allergy meds if anyone has allergies. tylenol/ibuprophen. I always pack some of everything since you never know when you will get sick and meds at Disney prices are expensive. A few years ago DS and I both caught the rotovirus that has been floating around forever. Nothing you can do but suffer through for a few days in the room but having those meds made the suffering a bit easier. It was just a stomach bug that lasted a little more than 24 hours and then we were fine.

Oh and Tums for heartburn.

I bring everything we might possibly need because we never leave site and I do not want to pay WDW prices for cold meds BUT I never freak out over forgetting something because there is nothing I can not buy there if I have to.
I thought I forgot the dramamine one year ( DH and DS take it aroud the clock there) but found it. It was going to cost me a fourtune to buy at WDW but it was there!

I agree with the pps. Take a small size of EVERTHING you regularly keep in your medicine cabinet! :rotfl: It really is so much better to have it and not need it than to really need it and have to to track it down for big bucks at Disney.

I always pack some "just in case" things. Off the top of my head:

-immodium (antidiarrhea med)
-Tums or rolaids
-pepto (I like the pill form better than the nasty pink liquid)
-Tylenol and Motrin (both adult and kids )
-benadryl
-cough/cold med (adult & child)
-neosporin or bacatracin
-bandaids
-moleskin (excellent for blisters, put it on "hot spots" so blisters don't form)
-hydrocortisone cream
-dental floss (I forget it if it isn't on my list)
-tweezers (just in case for splinters)
-small sewing kit (you can find them in the dollar store, great for quick fixes)
-small eyeglass repair kit (sold in most supermarkets for a couple of dollars)
-extra set of contact lenses (I have already lost a contact down the resort drain)
