trying to obtain a pin

OK I don't have a pin attached to my name, tried a couple of times asking.

I have an account that I set up in February when we decided we might go. I joined, did some planning, ordered a DVD, etc. I know that on Feb 16th I got an email from Disney - one of those explore your resort with these pics Clark family - emails. About 3 weeks later I got a pin for 20/30/40 off room only, which i didn't use because the public offer was better. I did maps, etc and never got another pin. ended up booking iwht public room only offer.

I did sign my DH up for an account. I have done lots of saving and resaving of quotes/trips, have done a lot with "my account" to show activity. Updated everything. I deleted them all and didn't visit for a few days. Went back in and priced some more trips. Finally got the resort pics email. Should I order another DVD? I don't need it but will it increase my chances or will they see that it is for the same household? I know the map order says one per household every 6 months... What are your thoughts. Hoping to generate a pin code from my husband acct for free QS Dining...

I can't answer because I was wondering the same thing. My account has been active for abut 4 years, did all of the things people say(except I never knew about creating an itinerary which I just did this week), and NEVER got anything from them except the Disney "Hello" newsletter (proving that they do have my correct email). This week I set up an account for my husband under his email, saved trips, and looked around. I answered that little exit poll on te trip saving thing saying that the prices were high and we were still comparing to offsite but we'd rather stay onsite. So far my husband has gotten the letterhead offer (saying "thank you for visting Disney Parks .com) and the make your own online Disney DVD in just a few days since creating his profile, so I am hopeful. I am now wondering if it would be overkill to order him a DVD since I got one in Jan. I am going to do the maps on his acct. and do an itinerary under his account this week.

The truth is, if a good GP offer for the early fall would just come out I wouldn't need a pin, but it has become my QUEST to get one. It drives me crazy how all of my friends (who don't even go or want to go) get them and I don't. I think I've gone over the Disney Deep End!!:banana:

"I think I've gone over the Disney Deep End!! "

I am with you on going over the deep end! My husband asked me what I'm going to do once this is all planned and we actually go. He said I'm going to go into "planning withdrawls" . . . Ummmm, YEA I AM! Cause Disney is screwing with my head and not sending me a PINCODE... or just releasing the promo's.

I saw a post that someone got a pincode for free dining starting 8/15. The plan level depended upon the resort level. . . and they aren't even going to use it!!!

So, heres to hoping that we all get the pincodes/promos we want - AND keep our sanity (or regain it, however you want to look at it).

I honestly think it's completely random. My mom, who has never been to Disney and I think ordered one of those free planning DVDs like two years ago, received a free QS pin in the mail this weekend. Doesn't do me any good :confused3
