Trying to link park ticket to DVC resrvation

I am trying to link a park hopper Tom my reservation.
I got a message saying it is already linked to a reservation?
Any thoughts on how to fix this?

You don't link tickets directly to a room reservation. You just link them to the same profile in MDE.

I linked military ticket park hoppers just fine. You simply link each park ticket to an individual person, not a DVC reservation, and that person is then linked (shown as a guest) to the DVC reservation. Just like any normal reservation through My Disney Experience.
