Hi all!

We will be in wdw for 3 days post Disney cruise in july:banana:

We have 2 little ones so character meals are always part of our plan, it's about survival!

We arrive at the Poly on July 4

So dinner that night will be at ohana

Next day we will head to MK
Need a dinner suggestion for that night
We are on the monorail so would like to stay in that area
We have done crystal palace breakfast, would consider dinner, 1900 park fare,

Next day is epcot
Deciding between biergarten and garden grill
We have done le cellier , askerhaus,

Next day is a toss up, probably time at MK again, and maybe HS for a while

We do not want to go to any place that dinner is dragged out, or possibly an arena for a kid meltdown..like a quiet signature palace

Suggestions greatly appreciated
Any others we should consider

2 Places I would highly suggest, given your situation, are Kona (right there at the Poly) and The Plaza in MK. Kona would be great if you plan on having a late afternoon break, then head to Kona for dinner before heading back out for the evening or if you want to call for an earlier night and have dinner there before relaxing at the resort. The Plaza is a pretty small inside and full meals are pretty quick. The sandwiches and ice cream are great for a fast, inexpensive, filling and quality lunch or dinner.

Garden Grill has some of the best character interaction on property. It is not uncommon for the characters (Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale) to visit your table multiple times. The food is not great, but then again you don't go to character meals for the food.

Biergarten is a pretty good dinner buffet as well. The atmosphere is very festive and the food is decent. Some people have a problem sitting with strangers, which will happen since the tables seat 8. If that is something that would bother your family, skip it.

Some other options in the DHS/EC area that I would look into for your family are 50's Prime Time Cafe (DHS) or Cape May Cafe (Beach Club).
