Trying to get a recipe . . .

I ate at the Yacht Club Galley a few weeks ago, and I would love to get the recipe for the pureed cauliflower that was underneath their pork chops. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it was outstanding!

Is there a "typical" way to request a WDW recipe that anyone can relate?

First check allearsnet.com. On the Dining Menu page, at the bottom of the list of links on the left is one for WDW Recipes.

If it's not there, you could try calling or writing Guest Relations (the number, address and e-mail address should be here on the DIS somewhere.

You could search online

Worst case, you could make another trip to Disney World...
