I'm driving my family (MIL, FIL, DW, DS 7mths, DD 3.5, and myself) to WDW in August. We are leaving from Massachusetts at about 3am on Saturday.
My route, derived from all of the posts on this board will be
I-90 to I-84
Catching I-81 in PA
to
I-77 South around Wytheville, Va.
I'm hoping to make it this far to stop for a hotel that same night.
So my first question is, does anyone have experience making it to VA in 15 hrs or so? I'm getting the idea that it is wise to make a hotel ressie rather than winging it.
The next morning, we'll be continuing to I-26 where we'll catch I-95 around Whetsell, S.C.
The next question is will we make it into Florida on that Sunday or should I make a hotel ressie in S.C.?
