Trying to decide!!

Ok,

I am planning a trip in October for me, DH38 and DS8. I am trying to decide between 2 resorts. POFQ or Pop Century. I have heard good things about both. Right now the price difference is about $40 a night. I am hoping that we can get either a AP rate or a Florida resident rate. I am leaning towards POFQ. The only problem is that I have to convince DH that it is worth the extra $$ to stay there.

Any advice is appreciated....

I think a lot of it will depend on how many times you've been to WDW before, and whether you're the kind of folks to spend as many hours as possible in the parks or not. If this is your first time, and you're generally Go! Go! Go! people, then you may not derive much as benefit from the moderate resort as someone who, for example, has been to WDW year-after-year for many years, and enjoys spending time enjoying the resort's amenities.

October will be less crowded than summers when I've gone, but transportation might be consideration. POFQ is much smaller which means fewer people trying to get on the buses.

I love POFQ. I'd stay there again in a hearbeat. The rooms are a bit larger which might be nice with DS.
