trying to decide on b'fast - help plz

Cape May or 1900 Park Fare - we've seen the FAb 5 characters before - but it has been a while

do you like one better than the other?

I have some who would know Mary Poppins - but not everyone....unless of course I show the movie before going

I can only comment on Cape May as we have not eaten at Park Fare. We had a great experience at Cape May. The character interaction was great. It was fun to see them in their bathing suits LOL. The food was great too. There we alot of choices. Lots of fresh fruit and I remember being pleasantly surprised they had asparagus too. In addition to all the traditional breakfast offerings.

Cape May is my family's favorite character meal. The buffet is much larger than most and the atmosphere is not loud and chaotic like some character meals. Since it isn't as well known as some of the other character dining spots it isn't as busy and the characters have more time at each table and usually make it by twice during our visits.

I have been to both the character breakfast and dinner at Park Fare and have never been impressed with the food or characters.

Cape May is great...
I haven't been to 1900 Park Fare yet - but I assume it's great too.
I think you should base your decesion on what you're doing that day.
If you're starting the day in MK, then go to 1900 Park Fare, if you start the day in Epcot, go to Cape May.

Have eaten at both...multiple times. I would make a choice based on where you are that day. If heading to Epcot, eat at Cape May. If going to MK, eat at 1900 Park Fare.
I find Cape May to be a bit less noisy and frenetic. 1900 Park Fare is very open and crowded. It just 'seems' to be more crazed. I also prefer the buffet setup at Cape May. It, again, seems to be less crowded.

But, all that being said, I have had very good food at both, good service at both and terrific character interaction at both. I would have to give Cape May a bit higher mark due to it just being less crowded, which makes everything seem better.

We are a 1900 Park fare or Chef Mickey's family, but we always stay in the Magic Kingdom resort area.

Another vote for Cape May. We've eaten at both. The food is good at 1900, but it's just crazy in there. The food is also good at Cape May, and it's a little more low key. We took our DGS there before he really liked characters, and Donald, Goofy, and Minnie were really good about not coming on too strongly.

We love the breakfast at Cape May It is our check-out day tradition. We have always had amazing service and awesome character interaction. The characters usually come by 2 or 3 times while we are there.

we have done both, and liked both.I don't think u can go wrong with either one. The characters are great at both, but 1900 was kindof hectic feeling. The lobster eggs benedict was really good though and Alice really took alot of time with my kids.Mad Hatter funny, Pooh adorable.Mary just Mary.
Cape May is fun and the food is really good too. I just love seeing the characters in their beach getups.U cant go wrong with these character. And we usually stay at the Beach so it is convenient.

My all time favorite breakfast is Tusker House, going there again this year!!

we did not like Chef Mickey's - won't be doing that again - it was just too wild - we felt herded there & we were there in OCt when it wasn't peak season

When we ate breakfast at 1900 last Feb, my then 5 year old daughter greeted Mary Poppins with, "HEY! You're the lady from that movie!" Mary sure is a gracious lady.

I also concur with planning which would be easier for your plan that day. We are doing 1900 on our departure day. Initially chose Cape May, but it will be our only meal at GF this trip and our friend (age 42) who is visiting WDW for the first time NEEDS to see the GF.
