Either Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL or Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. We will need to activate AP's after breakfast and then we will be going to MGM (so we will be using our rental car this morning).

We've eaten at Kona for breakfast before and I'm a huge Tonga Toast fan. But I've always wanted to try WCC for breakfast, too. Our dinner there last summer was really good!

I checked out the menus on Deb's site and prices and selection are very similar. We will be staying at WL, but we're not doing anything "commando" style, so we are going to be able to take our time.

So, which would you choose for atmosphere, service, quality of food, etc.? Please share your thoughts and opinions. Thanks so much!!!

Both are great. I would say that the food is better at the Kona Cafe, but the service is better (the waiters are purpusefully trying to humor you the whole time) at Whispering Canyon. Either way you'll be happy. Any way you can do both?

I agree that both are good. I love the french toast at Kona (not the one with the bananas inside but my mom loves that). However, I did enjoy Whispering Canyon. For atmosphere, I prefer WCC as I think the Wilderness Lodge has the most beautiful lobby. When we did breakfast there (it was quite awhile ago) it was served family style but you could get refills of whatever you liked in the skillet. We found that good for stuffing ourselves and then not needing to have lunch. That approach is no longer my approach since I'm on Weight Watchers but it might work for you.
