Trying to choose a character breakfast

DH and DS (10 yrs) insist we do only one character breakfast/meal. I had to twist arms for that. I think my 7 yr. old DS will really enjoy it. (He is autistic and developmentally is closer to 4 or 5 yrs).
NO PRINCESSES ALLOWED. (Boys ) I'm thinking Chef Mickey from what I have read, but we are staying at the Poly and maybe Ohana's would be just as good and definitely more convenient. Am open to other ideas, as well.
Wish they had they "heros" as I read about for Mother's Day.

Chef Mickey's is a must do each time we go to WDW

You said you ds is autistic. If you think he might be better off with a quieter meal you might want to consider Goofy's Beach Breakfast at Cape May in Beach Club. It is a character breakfast with Goofy, Mickey, Minnie and Chip and Dale. It just seems to be less frantic and quieter than Chef Mickey's. It's a smaller restuarant. The food is good. And you get a good amount of time with the characters.
If you got over to MK early, you could take a bus back to the Beach Club for breakfast. Maybe an 8:30 or so seating. Or make an earlier seating and take a cab. I don't think it costs too much.

Your family will love the 'Ohana breakfast. Not only is it easy for you, since you're stay at the Poly, but it is fun, "on the quiet side", good food (simple, but the pineapple bread is devine!) and it has Mickey!!!!!!

You'll be glad you did it! Oh yeah, and the coffee is tasty also!
