Trying to book for March 2017 ?

I was trying to look at rates on Disney's web site booking for early March and the web site only is allowing you to book thru the end of 2016. Is this usual to not be able to book past the end of the year only 6 months away? Thanks Teroot

You can call and book now, but the price will change once 2017 rates are released, which should be by the end of June.

New rates for the following year usually come out anytime June/July-August, so the 2017 rates should be out soon. You could book RO now (RO can be booked 499 days out), but you have to call. You will be quoted the highest rate for 2016, which will automatically be adjusted once the new rates are released. If you want to book a package or book online, you have to wait until the new rates are out. With that said, if you know you want a package, it's best to wait until the new rates are released as booking RO now and changing to a package later will require the RO to be cancelled/refunded and a package booked, requiring a new deposit. Since RO and packages are different reservation systems, money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other. HTH .
