Do you try new restaurants every visit??

I've done my Itinerary and ADR's and after looking at it, im pretty much 2nd guessing it all now!! I realized we have only 2 new restaurants and everywhere else we eat at every trip. We don't go as often as i would like so I crave and think about these foods so i have hard time trying something new!

and i also wish DHS had something better to choose from !

It's hard, isn't it? There are those absolute favorites, but then we too love to try new places.

Happy mix!

We try to pick at least one, if not two, new places per trip. But we have several standbys that just make the trip special for us that we have to do trip after trip.

There are always a few must-have's - Tonga Toast, Fish n Chips, Sci Fi (kids choice), etc - but then we always mix in new things also.

I can't wait to finally try CA Grill in July!

Yes, we try new ones every year. We try to let dds (8,5) each pick a restaurant, which they usually pick one of the character meals we've been to before. We try to add a new restaurant and decided to add a signature restaurant for each trip. This trip, we are trying Jiko.

We also try new things each trip. This time we are trying Le Cellier, Artist Point and the Rose and Crown Pub. We have never done breakfast at CRT only dinner, but this trip we are doing breakfast. We have favorite foods at some of our choices but we still like to add a few new ones too.

We like to try new restaurants each trip, except this coming March we our favorites and one that we haven't been to for about 5 years now (50's Prime Time)....so I guess that can be considered new, sort of.

We do a mix. We have some must do's (Ohana, Yachtsman's, 50's PTC, Tusker House breakfast) we mix in new ones from there.

This year we are trying new: 50's Prime Time,Tutto, and Coral Reef

Not going to ever give up:love: Ohana's, LeCellier, Clambake , and Yachtsmen

It is really hard. We have favorites but we try to add new stuff. I think eventually will will end up with too many favorites and will have to give up something to try something new. We are up to four favorites now (Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier, Raglan Road, and Sci Fi Dine In).

Our next trip is QS only, so we are going to try some new QS places. Originally we were going to try Whispering Canyon and Cali Grill for the first time in 2011 until we decided to go to Disneyland instead :).

We each have our favorites, but I want to be sure to add something new to add a little variety to the trip. The problem is that we have sooooooo many favorites! Last year, we tried Tony's and Raglan Road. This year, we're trying CRT (dinner- we've done B & L there), Sci Fi, Spirit of Aloha, and bringing back Cape May dinner (from a long hiatus). We will try one more new place, once we figure out which would be the most enjoyable for meeting up with friends. I second guess myself a lot, since we do the same places for both breakfast and lunch, but there are only so many character meal choices.

It is hard to choose one of our favorite restaurants to give up so we can try one that we have not been to yet. The last 2 years or 3 trips we didn't try any new restaurnats. But we did enjoy ourselves with our favorites.

We have no must-have places and have now tried all but about 5 TS places. Except for V&A and Bistro, we try not to ever eat at the same restaurant on back to back trips. Our new one for our upcoming trip is Sanaa and all of the other ones are places we have not eaten at for at least our last 2 vacations there.

(ok its my rule) is no more than twice at any given restaurant until we've tried every one we even remotely think we'll like. Repeats this year are the Wave and either Mama Melrose (if we can get the FP) or 50's Prime Time (if we can't). New will be Nine Dragons, Boma, Chefs de France and Cape May Clambake.

We like to try 2 or 3 new restaurants each trip. This year we are trying Boma, Kona Cafe, and Raglan Road. But we can't give up our favorites - LeCellier, Coral Reef, and GF Cafe.

We've eaten pretty much everywhere, but there were a few restaurants that we haven't been able to make work during our last few trips, so we are eating at them in 2 weeks. We made those ADRs first.

Don't fret about having favourites - when you've eaten almost everywhere, you do end up eating at the same restaurants quite often as it gives a feeling of comfort and familiarity. That is what we love best about Disney!

Happy eating, Tiger :)

Well we've only been a handful of times so we're still in discovery mode. We try to hit a few new restaurants each time we go, but we've already made a few favorites. We'll definitely hit those as well as continue to try new ones. Variety is the spice of life, but then the tried and true are comforting as well. Have fun!!
