Anyone else try RPR after feeling disappointed with PBH?

PBH was OK, but all of the concrete and lack of trees made the place feel cold and unrealistic to us. Plus, the walk to our room took forever to get to.

On the plus side, the rooms were well-furnished and large.

You have described Naples. We will feel right at home.

Stayed at PBH,and yes felt the sameway.Seemed like a 1/2mile walk from the boat to our room..

Thats why RPR is our fam fav now.The resort is easy to get around and beautifal with all the trees and such..

HRH is second..

But when we stay we always go to the other two to swim, shop or eat.. :thumbsup2

While we have never stayed at PBH we did stay at RPR this year and we all loved it and DS 16 loved the fact we could leave him at the RPR and he could walk by himself and not having old mom and dad wlking with him plus DW is hooked and now won't stay anywhere else :lmao: Oh well there goes the budget :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

RPR is great:thumbsup2 so far our fav...even better than HRH imo;) (which is cool & all, yet just a bit too casual for me:confused3 )

Other than theming, i like the fact that the RPR seems to have a greater percentage of public space than the HRH; which i find important as i hate getting that claustraphobic vibe in lobby/pool/grounds, etc.

Which, after using the pool @ PBH last vist & touring the elegant, spacious grounds (closest i'll get to Italy) am just thrilled to be visiting in a month:banana:

RPR is beautifully landscaped. You should love it!

last year we decided to do a split stay with RPR and PBH, while the PBH was a lovely resort we had some issues spoke to the manager and we moved back to RPR. where there this year again, and have booked again for next year, so would not dream of staying at anyother resort
