Hi all,

I am now really beginning to get into my vacation planning with about 70 days to go. Woo hoo! As I am within that 90 day ressie period, I just reserved at least one nice rest. per day. I have booked my favorites at least twice and have also booked some rest. that I have never tried and others that I had bad experiences years ago and am willing to try again.

I have booked Le Cellier, Garden Grill, Liberty Tree Tavern and Crystal Palace (most twice) as I love these rest. and never had a problem there.

I have made both lunch and dinner ressie's at Cinderella's Royal Table. I had a horrible dining experience (food was very bad and cold) here years ago and I am going to give it another try. If I get bad food again, they will hear about it and I will not give it another try.

Other rest. that I am trying are Cap N' Jacks, Hollywood & Vine, Wolfgang Puck Express and Boatwright's Dining Hall (for breakfast and dinner).

I have checked out the menu's on Deb's site but would like to know what all the rest of you Disser's may have experienced recently at these rest. (both good and bad). I am looking more at food quality, service and if you would ever go again.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your opinion. Can't wait to get to the single digit dance.

Are you planning on doing the Fantasmic package at Hollywood and Vine? We did that last year and enjoyed it so much that we're doing it again next month! :) We enjoyed the food immensely and particularly liked the beef that was braised in wine, the salmon and the sweet potatoes.

Wolfgang Puck Express is a great place for counter service. They serve many of the same menu items as in the next door cafe. I like the soups and the sushi rolls.

Never having tried Captain Jack's or Boatwrights, I can't comment on those, but I've heard rave reviews of the breakfast at Boatwrights!

I hope your meal at CRT is good. We avoided it for a number of years too but is now a lunch tradition for us....probably has been for 6-8 years??

We tried Boatwrights for breakfast this summer after reading Uncleromulus' reviews here. He was right...no surprise there I guess:D ...it was excellent.

We're not fans of H&V but actually haven't tried it in years. Look forward to your review of it. Sounds like swankybeth enjoyed it! Was the food hot, swankybeth?

My husband and I enjoy Boatwrights so much that we go there every time we're in Disney for breakfast, and once in awhile for dinner. I recommend trying the chicken jambalaya at dinner. The service is also great , we have a favorite waitress that we ask for each time we go, sometimes she works breakfast, sometimes dinner. :)

BCV23--On the night that we tried Hollywood and Vine everything was at their correct temperatures. The hot foods were hot and the cold salads were cold. Hopefully this will be the case in September! :)

I know a lot of people dislike H&V but its a must do for us. After 4 visits we have never had a bad experience. Food always hot and tasty.

Wow, thanks for the great reviews so far. I really am getting excited to go. Yes, I did get the H&V Fantasmic Dinner Package and will be more than happy not to have to wait in line. It's been almost a decade since I last stayed at PORS. Back then we just grabbed food from the food court. I just made the decission when I was on the phone booking the other ressie's to book Boatwrights as I have a few mornings where I am waking up late, now I can't wait to have breakfast.

I have had a few bad food experiences with the past several trips. I have yet to try a rest. in MGM that I like (only one that I am okay with and recommend is Mama Melroses and it has been at least 5 years since I last ate there). Last year we ate at Sci-Fi and Catalina Eddie's and couldn't stand the food from either one so I think I will be happy with the buffet for H&V.

Thanks and keep those reviews coming.

My family ate at 1900 Park Fare at GF for the prime rib buffet and really liked it. At the time it was also the Pooh character dinner. We also had a pretty good steak at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL. Many people like the character breakfast Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. But when we went, the food seemed a little greasy and not much taste.
