Try this on Spaceship Earth

For all of you who have ridden Spaceship Earth multiple times, to the point where you know the dialog by heart, try this next time. At the beginning of the attraction where you pick your language, deliberately go with one you don't know. You might surprise yourself as to how much you recognize in those other languages, especially the romantic ones.

We do this with some regularity - but I just love listening to Judi Dench so English is still my favorite!

Also we pick random places to be "from" and discovered Stewart Island south of New Zealand - DH's name is Stuart so that cracked us up

My toddler loved the touch screen, I think we listened to Chinese and Arabic? Hard to say what his hits sometimes.

Another fun thing is to move around to get funny pics. I don't think the cameras can really sense where your face is, it just shoots the same spots. So you can get your hands in the way, two faces together, etc. Lots of fun.

I have always wondered if the language option changed the narration or just the on screen stuff at the end when you choose your future. THanks for metioning this, I'm going to definitely pick Spanish next time. Does anyone know who is the narrator for the Spanish version?

My daughter "created" this experience for me when she was 3... heard the whole thing in Japanese!!

We've done them all My girls know multiple languages though, so it's kind of like cheating But they let me pick the outcomes at the end as I do not know much outside of English, French and Spanish, the last two being learned and used mostly way back in high school.
