Unless I was reading this wrong, you have to subscribe to this service for $9.99 a month using your verizon wireless phone. Is that correct?

I assure you that signing up for a monthly service fee will in no way increase your odds of getting a PIN.

I will say that I recently ordered a Vacation Planning DVD and indicated I intended to make multiple trips to Disney this year with the first being in June of 2010 and I got yet another PIN today (this makes 2) .. this was the 20/30/40 .. but with dates that go later in the year.

I certainly understand that, but I thought the idea of the text messages from Disney about the parks etc... was a neat idea. I just do not want to pay a monthly fee for it. I was just asking the OP if she had to pay for the service.

I made a new account using my DH information and 1 week later he received 2 of 20/30/40 codes for most of 2010 as well. I was able to use both of the codes for 2 different reservations. First is at BLT (me, DH, DS and DS Friend) and the second is at the YC for me and my mom.

From what I understand if you are a Verizon customer you will be charged 9.99

The only other charges that seem to apply are your standard rated from your provider. This is the what I saw ,
