TRUE Outlet locations?

I just found out that Gap brands has a huge distribution center outlet in Hebron KY. You have to be careful what you buy because the items can truly be factory seconds that are stained or ripped, but there are deals to be had.Just wondered what other places like this may be out there that my fellow budget boarders could fill me in on.

Where is Hebron?

Once a year, All Clad has a "seconds sale" in Western PA. I've never been to it, but I think it's at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Hebron is outside Cincinnati OH.

Interesting. I live just North of Cincy and didn't know about it. I'd love to hear if anyone has been there and what they prices and inventory are like.

It's not the easiest place to find, and found the price way too high for the quality of the items for sale. The location is near the Cincinnati airport.

I find Penneys outlets to be hit or miss. I also like VF outlet stores.

We went once to that Gap Outlet once about 5 or 6 years ago. There was a line to get in (probably because it was right before school started), they'd let 2 or 3 people out and let the same number in.
It may have been extra bad because of the crowds, but the clothes were all torn and/or filthy. I was really shocked. There was nothing in there I'd want even if they were giving it away.
I might try it again, but I'd only drive 10 minutes or so out of my way.

You have to check to see which stores at outlet centers are actually their outlets and not their regularly priced stores. I worked for Eddier Bauer about 10 years ago and asked this question, at Eddie Bauer it's based on the labels. Regular stores have dark writing on their clothing tags, the outlets are grayish silver. But the prices were not always that much lower IMO, but there were always sales.
