Rex Allen was also the narrator and father in Disney's Carousel of Progress when it opened at the World's Fair and later at DL and WDW. In 1993 Carousel was renovated using the voice of Jean Sheperd for father, but Allen's voice lives on as the voice of the grandfather in the final scene.
