True Blood Season 4

Ugh. My tv died as I was watching last week's show. Now I don't know when I'll catch up and next week is the last epsiode of Season 4!!!

I love the book series but I know that creative license can change when adapting to a tv serial.

Well, season 4 is over with and we are left hanging for season 5 to find out if ********* lives or dies.

I hope so but with the huge spray of blood when ********** got shot in the back of the head I'm wondering if this person will be saved another way.

I think ************** will be turned.

The same person we're talking about? lol Even I got confused at that statement. If you are talking about the person we are talking about in the other messages then I disagree. Said person would NEVER want to be a vampire.

Judging from the last episode...is it safe to assume that ******* is back to wreak more havoc? :happytv: If so, does that mean that a certain fanger brought ******* back out of spite after being cast out?

I call LIVES. I assume it will involve a quick shot of vamp blood.

While you're right that that character would never want to be a vampire, you slightly contradict yourself with theses posts. Mainly, that the character is so close to death, if not already dead, that ingesting vamp blood would turn them.

No I didn't contradict myself at all. Not in the world of True Blood it wouldn't turn the person into a vampire. Season 1 Sookie was close to death when Bill fed her his blood. All it did was "fix" her. This season Jason was serverly injured (burned and blind) and Jessica fed him her blood and it "fixed" him. Calvin Norris of Hot Shot was practically dead but was given a small vile of vamp blood and he was healed in minutes. None of these people turned into vampires.

I laughed so hard at ***** ****** showing up at Jasons door! He was reported "Missing" for a while.

And YUP a certain person has been released from where they were and are free to wreak more havoc. lol

Can we start assuming that everyone has seen the last episode now? It's been a week.

Seriously soooo excited a particular someone is back.... And its not religiously affiliated!! Omg cant wait for next season!!

hahah! Only 8 months till June for season 5!!! :) Season 5 will come and go before my trip to Disney World!

I'm very interested to see how ******** is reacting to being a vampire. Obviously he wants revenge on ****** since he showed up at his house!

True, but I'm sure all of those can't compare to getting shot in the head by a shotgun

Close to death is close to death right? Jason was almost dead when Jessica and Hoyt found him on the side of the road, Jessica gave him blood and he also didn't turn into a vampire.

And hell just in this season sookie was shot, barely a pulse left and bill gave her blood. She isn't a vampire either.

I guess its just going to come down to whether they are actually dead dead before ingesting the blood.

Hmm so do you think if they were dead dead they could injest blood? lol

True Blood is a little confusing when it comes down to it. All I can find on how they actually create vampires is that "The human must be drained to the point of death by the vampire and then their blood is replaced with a large amount of blood from the vampire." This is what Bill did to Jessica. He drank her to the point of death and then fed her his blood.

Maybe that's the difference here? You can be dying from natural causes and get blood but not turn?!

It is confusing! lol And the books don't help since htey are pretty much 2 different storylines at this point. I'm excited to see what happens though.

Do you think it could be that since the vampire drank most of their blood that when the victim drinks, they are actually getting their blood back but mixed with the vampire gene/venom/chutzpah?
