OMG Troy was SOOO awesome!
It was amazing.. the battle scenes were the best battle scenes ever... And the story-- they took the myth out of it, and told the real story, making them real people... it was mighty good..

...not to mention Orlando and Brad were H-O-T-T HOTT in it! hehe...

I highly recommend you go see it!

maybe if i wasn't THIRTEEN!

but my wonderful sister said she might take me....GO ANDY!! TAKE ME!!

hehe i'm only 16... i got my friend's b/f (he's a senior) to get us tix... BEG ur sis to take u.. u wont be sorry!!

i'm 14. my parents said they "have to see it first blahblahblha" and so i was like "go see it in theater than take me!!" and they were like "we don't really wantt o see it. we'll wait for the dvd." i almost screamed. i really want to see it!!!!!!!! :(

Hey Sam?? how old are you?? Since you 'rule' me, you can take me to go and see it!! yayyyy!

::yes:: ;) :D

haha I'm 15. I don't think it's that much of an age difference between us

I haven't seen it yet and I don't want to see it really. I don't know why they rated it MA over here in Australia

Went and saw it Friday night. It gets a "meh" from me. Nothing great for a $185 million bucks. An overlong, sloppily made 'epic' if what you call an epic, action on the beach for 2 and 1/2 hrs. Also the lame attempts at relationships didn't help. There was some bright spots; the battle scenes and a couple good performances, most notably from Brian Cox and Peter O'Toole. I just wanted to slap Bloom's character, Paris. Your telling me this war was fought over this winey kid. Also Pitt looked more like some surfer than Achillies.

My friends r 13 and they went to c it but i think they snuck in but i think theyr parents no that they went to see it well at least one of my friends moms knew they said it was really good

I saw "Troy" Saturday night with some friends and thought it was awesome. Brad Pitt and Eric Bana were both amazing, but (even though I HATE to say it), I didn't like Orlando Bloom's character at all. Paris was a little wimp and I couldn't stand to watch him whine and beg for his big brother's help.
The battle scenes were great, the visual effects were great, and Brad Pitt's body was absolutely AMAZING! :earseek: Yowza, that man is gorgeous!
I agree with the OP - if you can, go see this movie! (BTW, this was the very first R-rated movie I ever legitimately bought a ticket to, and they didn't even card me! I was looking forward to actually being able to prove I could buy a ticket legally!)

It sucked.

Like Toad said, you just want to slap Orlando Bloom upside the head for being such a coward. I hate him. Go cry and hide you little girl. Eric Bana was the only one whom I really liked.. awesome acting on his part. The battle scenes were alright... nothing spectacular. They hardly kept to the story at all. Brad Pitt's little gf throughout the movie should have been drowned in the ocean.

I'll buy it when it gets released on DVD, but I'll be sure to watch it with the remote in hand.

I am going to go and see it tomorrow with my friends, so I will post on it later.

well, he may have been a wimp, but he would be a GORGEOUS ONE!!

still haven't seen it...I'm going to though...my friend went and saw it and she's only 11, but her sister went with her..she said it was good too...now I must go!!

I haven't seen this movie yet, but I just want to thank Mr. Toad for acknowledging Peter O'Toole and his performance.
