trouble with HRH reservations

I am about to freak out I reserved my HRH room with the entertainment rate in early march for november and I mailed a money order the next day. I called to see if I could upgrade yesterday and they said our reservation was cancelled because my money wasn't recieved on time. That they will call me if accounting has our money. I am simply about to have a nervous breakdown. He kept telling me everything would be ok. I hope so has anyone had a similar experience
 
Interesting you should post this. We made our reservations last December for this November. I just realized that they had never charged the credit card and that we had never received a written confirmation. So I called their 800 number.

I did have a confirmation number which fortunately I had recorded in Quicken when I put the charge in. They looked up the confirmation number and explained to me that back in December they were not charging credit cards for the first nights stay and that they had my reservation in good order.

I hope yours works out. How does it work with Money Orders if they are lost in the mail? I've only sent one once and I sent it certified, I think.

Just wanted to say that our credit card has not been charged either. The reservation is for September 19th. I made it in April. We did however receive a confirmation letter within three weeks. I am not sure when they will charge my card, but as long as I have a confirmation I'm not too worried.

I called this morning to straighten this mess out. they have my money and had it before the ten days was up they fixed it and told me I couldn't get the entertainment rate now it was topo late . I argued it wasn't my fault they fixed it I hope and all is good I hope. They said I would be gettingh a confirmation in the mail. I hope and beware to all that don't pay with a credit card. I was told their system is not check and money order friendly so if you didn't use a credit card you need to confirm your reservation ASAP
 

It is my understanding that credit card reservations with HRH aren't charged for first nites stay until 3 days before your arrival date. This is pretty standard procedure with hotels.
 
What is the 800 number for Hard Rock? I need to call them, I did recieve a confirmation number on a letter, but I can't find it.

Try 1-800-711-0080 . That's what I called.
 
I have never been charged a nights stay at either HRH or PBH in advance, they have taken my CC # but never charged it. We have also recieved confirmation slips in the mail before hand.
