Trouble with GA fires

I have seen on the news today that several of the highways to Disney are being closed down due to smoke from the GA fires. Is there anyone that is currently on their way down there or has recently arrived that is experiencing any trouble? We don't leave for several weeks but have family that will leave tomorrow from MS and would like some help. Thanks for the info!

It's no longer just from the fires in GA. Since they've crossed into florida, they've grown extremely fast. 35 miles of I-75 have but shutdown north of and to Lake City Florida. This is being billed as a once in a lifetime fire up that way and the smoke is going all the way to miami (and can be seen from space). Other roads are closed in GA and FL, but obviously, I-75 is the biggie especially with that long of a stretch. This is a bad one.

My mom started driving up from four corners this am (left at 3:30am). Is -95 effected by the fires?

smoky air is really your only concern at this point. And that's on a daily basis depending on wind direction.

The massive fire that has come up is well north of WDW. Lots of little brush fires pop up every day though it seems. Come, have fun.

just, if you smoke, watch your cigarettes please everybody!

Where's a very small hurricane when you need one. I hope it doesn't make to WDW. I guess we all could go and start blowing air maybe it will keep it from hitting the parks.
