Trouble with Fort online checkin

I have been trying to do online checkin all day for our trip in 3 weeks. It lets me make all the choices but at the end it says online checkin isn't available right now. Anyone else having a problem?

I had that problem last night. Waited a few minutes, tried again and it worked.

Don't know what dates you are try'n to get, but, try try and try again.
nuther little tip, you might try reserving a bigger group of days which include the days you want, like reserving a week or so,,if you get the ressie then after you can cancel out the days you don't want.(be sure to cancel them, someone else may need them)

I've stopped doing online check-in. I've found that if I want to change sites from what they've put us in, it's less of a hassle......docs have to be reprinted, resort ID's have to be redone, etc. In other words, don't stress. It doesn't take that much longer to check in once you get there.....especially this time of year. The kids love walking in to check in with me while DH goes to unload the trailer in the overflow area.

Ok, after several trips to the Fort we have a loop preference (900) - when we checkin at the Fort can we still ask for this request. We usually just take what we're given, but in my old age I'm feeling pickier I guess.

I would request ahead of time. Some have suggested faxing a request 5 days out, I requested 400 loop when I did my online checkin 2-3 days before we arrived.

I don't fax a request everytime. I will fax a request for our Halloween trip since it's always sold out, but I never request a specific site. If you get up to check in and you're not thrilled with the site, you can request another.

When you do the online check in, they print all your docs ahead of time and it takes a little more time if you want to change sites. When I have indicated a loop request via fax AND the few times I've indicated it in online check in, I've always gotten the loop I wanted. We're not so picky on the sites.
