The old site won't load for me either...and I have no idea where everyone is seeing the 'New" site!! I am trying not to panic!:faint:

Same here I think it is a Canadian thing!

I cannot see the "new" site at all people are talking about. I also cannot get to the old site directly (either google or typing in the address, it says cannot connect.)

The only way I can get to it is to go the disney parks website, click on packages, click on Disney World and then it takes me to the site! :confused3

Can someone post the list to the site you can't get on? I'll see what I can find

This works only until I tried to move from the vacation package page, and then it disappeared again. :badpc:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_CA/ has been changed ... they dropped the last part "en_CA".

So in my case, I go to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ and then click Tickets -> Special Offers and it brings up the special offers page. I know this is the Canadian page when I click the play stay and Dine package, since it shows the Canadian offer deadline "Book by February 18, 2013!".

I can also see in the path of the website site "stayplaydineCA&market" which denotes to me that they have flagged my IP as Canadian.

So, several things could be happening here (and I have seen this with Disney in the past). They create a new content specifically for certain Markets. In our case SPD will undoubtedly stay up until mid Feb for canadian IP's. We in Canada may not see their US based offer until they release it to our IP's, or there is someone here who masks their IP, or someone from the US posts this for us to see.

I tried your link, and it still adds the en_CA at the end without me doing it. It then brings up nothing again. :crazy2:

Okay, I was able to link to the Disneyworld special offers from the Disneyparks special offers. Thanks for your help Ted!

Yes I am a technically challenged individual!:confused3

I've lived on the Halifax peninsula for all my life ... my father did have horses in Sackville when they had the race track ... oppps just dated myself!

Have been having the same problem over the w/end. Called Disney dining reservations and was on hold for 30 mins each time. Called DVC member services - same thing, long holds. I understand it was the holidays, but I also think there website is acting up hence the longer wait times.

the wait times are due to the new Disney Visa offer I suspect ... I got through this morning in less than 10 minutes!

How very frustrating! I can access the site just fine when I'm logged into my work PC (on a US server), but get an error message when I use my home pc (Canadian ISP).

I'm about to start sounding a little like Donald Duck right now. :donald:

I found I needed to clear my browser cache to access.

I think that they were doing some work over the past few days and while I didn't see any specific improvements (i.e. l still don't see my dining reservations) I was able to access the site again after clearing my browser cache.

Still having same issue. I can get there if I go to the Disney dot com page but not through my Canadian IP. Good thing Im not trying to book our trip yet!:confused3

Glad to see I'm not alone.... I have tried over and over again, including clearing my cache, my history, my cookies, everything. I can get on once and then when I try again later, I have to do it all over again. It keeps adding the en/CA or whatever! Grrrrr....:(
