Tropicana vs Camelot

Im decided between the 2 hotels and they look very comparable. Is one better than the other in terms of comfort, distance from park, safety or noise level? For the dates I have picked out the prices are the same. Looking at both websites the amenities are basically the same too. Same style pool, no breakfast etc.. Just trying to figure out if one hotel has a 1 up on the other one. Thanks from a Disneyland newbie

These two are right next door to each other and are owned by the same company. The Camelot is the slightly farther away property but again- we're talking right next door to the Tropicana and both are very close/easy walk. I've never stayed at the Camelot but really like the Tropicana.

Tropicana, just because it's slightly closer. Request a 3rd floor room. There aren't many of them, but they are really quiet.

They are sister properties and the front desk at the Trop was excited to tell us that the rooms at the Camelot were just refurbished. We stayed at the Trop in December and had another nice stay. It’s our go to when unable to use or run out of points for the GCV or there aren’t good discounts on property. The ever so slightly closer Trop helps with our decision. Never had a problem with safety and while the rooms are not luxurious, they are comfortable for the three of us. Mike
