Just so you know, there is a tropical storm out there -- Tropical Storm Danny.

However, it is not projected to affect Florida, and is not expected to reach hurricane status until it gets about the latitude of coastal NC.

what time frame does it look like it will be off the coast of the Carolinas? We are going to Hilton Head Island DVC next week...and would really like some nice weather this time....last time we went, it poured 3 of the 5 days we were there. but thats what we get for going at this time of year, I guess!

It's supposed to be off the coast of NY Saturday and up in Canada by Sunday

JimMIA: you had to say this "Florida is not planning on hosting any hurricanes this year. We're going to send them all to New England this year, because Texas and LA are pretty tired of the darn things too."

My daughter lives in Falmouth on Cape Cod and now she's getting tired of the hurricane panic and heavy swells and riptides at the beaches.

Your predictions are amazingly accurate ;)

I live about an hour above Cape May and the rain came and went but you can tell it's DEFINITELY NOT over yet! I'm hoping the worst of this weather will be past us by tomorrow. I'm scheduled to attend the Garden City Event in LI tomorrow evening. I'd really like to travel without worrying about a hurricane!
