Tropical Retreat, Emerald Isle vacation home -- anyone stayed there??

I have gotten a really good rate for a week in October and am wondering if anyone here has experience with them. We are waiting to see if FD is offered but this looks too good to pass up. Thanks!!

That's where we are staying in July. Can't wait. The game room looks amazing and with older kids that's a big plus. Terry has been so responsive it's crazy. I email him questions and he's emailing me back right away. The ratings on Trip Advisor are really high too. I know they aren't as cheap as some people seem to be getting for homes, but it looks like a really nice, clean place and it's super close to DW.

We stayed last Thanksgiving and our review is on his website, tripadvisor etc. We can't say enough great things about the house. Our only concern is that it has spoiled us to staying anywhere else (already booked for thanksgiving this year) so who knows what we will get this year.

We had four adults and two kids and everyone had private space when they needed it and plenty of room to gather as a group too. We ate breakfast every morning there and my parents loved having the Keurig, we did not cook any meals but breakfast.

Everything throughout the house is labeled with instructions (TV, Music, Movies, Games etc.) the attention to detail is outstanding. We loved the game room especially the pool and pinball. Super minor details but the steering wheel on the driving game was a little loose probably from so much use and the arcade game is obviously not up to todays graphic intensive standards but has so many throwback games it was great for the adults. Also, the game room feels like part of the house not a garage with a pool table in it.

Beds were very comfortable, sheets were clean as was everything upon arrival. My mom is a neat/clean freak and she was very impressed. Pool was clean, weather was not ideal during the week but I still managed to fall asleep in the hot tub it felt so good. Kids loved having a place to get away too.

I agree Terry is great to work with and super responsive. Our deposit was refunded 2 days after departure and all his information is very helpful before during and after. We are actually booking Thanksgiving 2014 right now which is what I think is the highest compliment I can give.

I am happy to answer any questions, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to it again.
