TRON Monorail Debuts at Walt Disney World

Love the new Mono ride, :thumbsup2

I loved that movie, (1982)
and the video game too.

I saw it as we were on our way to the Hess to fill up before we left Saturday. Everyone in the truck thought it was pretty cool looking.

I just got back and have to say I feel the Tron monorails I saw look better than the "classic" ones. After this promotion Disney might want to consider doing something similar with color schemes to spice them up a bit.

Saw it today, too cool.
I'd like to see the the other monorails and buses get an updated paint scheme. Minimize the advertising though.

that looks so cool....

I have yet to see it though. I'll have to check it out once I get back to Fl next week.

The video clip looks really cool! I wonder, is this really a "new" Monorail, or one of the old one's with a new paint scheme?

Now that I think about it,(saw article about it a few days ago,) I think that may be the other train that was involved in the accident last July. They only repaired one right away, and were waiting on the other, for sometime this year. They retired both colors, so it would stand to reason that the Tron Train, is one from the accident.

I guess we'll have to start counting the colors.

The last I saw of Monorail Pink, there still was no driver cab on it. But they did paint it white. But that was weeks ago. Time for another drive by past the round house. I know when they put the new driver cab and painted Purple to Teal, they blocked out the windows. And about a month later, the blacking came down.

Who knows... maybe it is.

It is not a new monorail. We rode in it last week and based on the condition of the inside, this has to be an older one. It is however a very cool looking monorail on the outside.

They only repaired the 1st/last car of the affected trains. The rest of the train was untouched. If youre in the middle cars, youd probably never know the difference.

yeah... there's never going to be a 13th monorail.

It's all about whether they pulled Pink out finally or changed one of the other 11 colors.

Gold
Silver
Coral
Teal - former purple
Lime
Black
Red
Blue
Orange
Yellow
Green
Pink - other accident monorail, and don't know the next color for it.
