Tripster for Disneyworld tickets?

Has anyone used Tripster specifically to buy Disney tickets? My FastPass window opens Jan. 5, and according to Touring Plans, they are considerably cheaper. I’m nervous about spending over $1000 on a site I have never used before. Do I get a confirmation number to link to MDE immediately? Do I have to print something and go to Will Call on my first day at the parks? When should I actually purchase the tickets?

Why would Undercover Tourist say that another vendor was cheaper?

Do you mean "Touring Plans?"
-----------------------------------------------
I just checked for (as an example) Adult 10-day ParkHopper ticket mid-January 2020 start date...
and Tripster was significantly HIGHER than Undercover Tourist for identical tickets.

UC $525.32 WITH TAX.
-vs-
Tripster $542.03 WITH TAX.
-------------------------------------------------
Since there is a virtually infinite combination of start-dates, ticket lengths, and ticket "types"
it is possible that Tripster (or any authorized WDW ticket reseller) would have a lower price for
YOUR exact trip needs.

But, in general...
The thing to note (very important) is to compare the prices WITH TAX.

I think the OP means Touring Plans. They list Tripster in their recommended vendor list.

OP, Universal Guests have used these tickets without problems. If you have linked MBs or older linked plastic tickets, just use either to enter the parks and FP lines.

For my trip March 7-11, 2020- 2 adult, 1 child 3 day non park hoppers have a special link to Tripster and tax is included, so I think it is cheaper.

did you make sure you changed the date for the last day of park visits on the TP calculator? I was curious (because many times Undercover Tourist is only a few bucks more expensive and I have a bit more confidence in them) and if I set your first day in the parks to 3/7 and your last day to 3/10 it does not suggest using a start date of 3/5 (because tickets that start on 3/5 expire on 3/9) and increases the price by about $12 even at the cheapest with tripster.

March 7, 2020
UT Adult 3-Day Base $368.34
Tripster
Adult 3-Day Base $366.58

A savings of $1.76 on one adult ticket.

Personally, I am much more familiar with Undercover Tourist and their track record of reliability, return policy, etc. For the extra $25 total, I'd go with Undercover Tourist for peace of mind. Close second for me would be ParkSavers.

This is what pops up for me. Are you all suggesting that even for the small savings, you would recommend Undercover Tourist instead?
Tripster will send you your Ticket Confirmation Numbers which you’ll link to your MDX account. From there, you can always Modify your tickets if you need to adjust anything after purchase.

All ticket vendors sell the same actual Disney tickets.

I was only buying one ticket. I used the special TP link to Tripster. Tripster had an extra $5 service charge not shown on TP comparison. I think I paid an extra dollar with UT. I thought the comparison was dishonest

What if you don’t have magic bands/cards?
do you stop at the ticket booth and get a card there In exchange for the ticket print out?

That'll work. (And, if you have the time to do this, I would.)
Have a legal photo ID and the ticket numbers of your purchase with you.

The other way to do this is to just show up at the park gate. (Bring with you a legal photo ID and the ticket numbers of your purchase.)
You will be issued a new plastic RFID ticket as you reach the gate.
