I see on here alot of trip reports from last week. We were also there last week and despite the weather had a great time. We didn't find the crowds bad providing you started the day early. We had one negative observation though. We go every year and usually you encounter the odd rude and ignorant person. This trip they were everywhere! Every trip you get the person that stops in the middle of the row at a show. This year there wasn't a show that went by that didn't happen. 1st day at Country Bears a woman stops dead center. A huge family is coming up behind her and they politley ask her to keep moving down the row so they can sit together. She says No and ignores them. Our last day was at MGM, which was very busy. We went to Little Mermaid, same thing. My husband and I Lost it and started yelling at the family to move down. It was impossibale to pass them with all thier gear. We had 3 little ones in tow and bags. You can't get by these people. Other people chimed in and she eventually moved down. The theater was packed and still a huge line. It's not right to be like that. The worst thing I saw was at Spectro Magic. This mom and Dad push thier stroller up to the rope. Dad stands beside and Mom sits next to it. A group of seniors in wheel chairs were behind him. There was plenty room behind the stroller, (wheel chairs wouldn't fit because of a garden). When the parade started, he would not stand behind the stroller and blocked the view of those in the wheel chairs. Then as it starts the wife stands up at the rope and blocks the view of all the kids sitting nice behind her! I don't get it, where has common courtesy gone! I could go on and on. '
I'm curious if anyone else found this on their trip? Was it the weather, the humidity?
On a good side, we found most of the cm's to be pretty good this trip! And we did meet some really nice families!

I agree with your observations about people not moving down the row during shows - to a degree.

We went to Philarmagic one day and the CM was saying 'If people are behind you, keep moving down the row'. So, looking behind me I see that the doors are closing and there are only 6 people behind me and DH so I stop about 3/4 of the way down the row. This woman behind DH starts screaming at me 'Are you deaf, he said move all the way down', so I reply 'He actually said if there are people behind you and there are only about 6 so I'm gonna stop here'. She then proceeds to barge past me and DH, together with her rather large family (in size, not in number) and starts swearing at me in the middle of the theatre. Using the 'F' word as well. So I just say 'Please don't use that language in here, when there's kids about' so she starts shouting about me and complaining loudly to her family, who are all calling me and DH names. Meanwhile, the 2 other people in our row are looking sympathetically at me and DH. I was so embarrassed I wanted to leave. It was awful. Not only that but she was muttering the whole way through the show and then, when we left, she started shouting abuse at us again. I have to say, I was really shocked and upset but I learned a valuable lesson. In future, I will ALWAYS move all the way down the row, regardless of how many people are behind me :rotfl2:

I too had an experience in Philharmagic. There was a family that sat right in the middle and everyone including the ushers started screaming at them to move all the way down. They never moved and everybody had to go around the royal family. I'm sure they knew people were talking about them the whole time. It seems like they wanted to fight everybody. Luckily that was the only rude experience I had.

We were there a few weeks ago and went to the Stunt Car show at MGM. The bleachers were being filled from both sides. We entered the row from the right and moved all the way down as instructed. A women came up to our row from the left and began screaming at me. "What the he-- is wrong with you, your supposed to move all the way DOWN!" I tried to explain and she kept yelling about how rude and stupid we were. I then refused to move over for her and she stepped over us, pushing me in the process. I almost pushed her back but restrained myself. During the entire show she sat and stared at me as she held her toddler in her lap. It was kind of funny and kind of sad. The noise was so scary that her child began screaming and did not stop. I felt badly for the child. Someone asked her to leave and she yelled at them. She kept staring at me so I blew her a kiss and waved. Then, as we were leaving she said something about us that I did not quite understand. She was behind me on the stairs and I turned to her and said "You really need to get a life of some anti anxiety medication." It really ruined my afternoon.
