Trip to the Dollar Tree

I'm all for saving money but I saw somethings at the dollar store that I think are better bought somewhere else for a bit more money.

Pregnancy test- to important to leave to a dollar test.

Warming lubricant liquid- if anything is going to warm my who ha I want it to cost more than a buck.

Teeth Whitening Gel- I can't imagine the dentist bill after using this stuff.

Hair weave- you get what you pay for.

Those tests are the #1 test on the market! I took an ept and a first response after taking one of those. The $1.00 said prego the big bucks said nope. 15 days later still hadn't got my period so I took another $1.00 that said I was and FINALLY first response vaguely said I was! ... You will hear lots of postive things about them on these boards.

Ditto on the above...the pregnancy tests are actually very highly rated and recommended. They are said to be very sensitive and accurate. I used one on the 1st day of my missed period and it was accurate.

Lol, my only problem was that for some dumb reason I bought 6 of them. I guess I wasn't thinking straight. It really only takes one, and I used a second one just to be positive. So, I now have 4 unused pregnancy tests sitting in my bathroom. They do have a return policy, but I threw out the receipt.

I have no children. My sister is pregnant with her fifth. We can both assure you that those dollar tree pregnancy tests work just fine.

Used both the pregnancy tests and ovulation predictors from Dollar Tree and have to say, liked them both more than any $$$ one out there.
No problems with them whatsoever!

Let me tell you that when I got pregnant I used one of those dollar store pregnancy tests thinking it wouldn't work, but here I am actually pregnant

I got another three or some ridiculousness for backup...I think I used 2. I kept being afraid I would have become unpregnant in some way.

Definitely recommend them rather than spending $10 at a drugstore.

Docs I used to work for (Ob-Gyn) would tell their patients to use the $1 ones instead of spending the extra money for them in the drug stores. They are just as good as the high dollar ones!

Yeah the pregnancy tests are good, my friend bought 2 and used both and both said positive...She is due in Feb with twins.

Will do. Not to sure how I feel if I am! I am 40. Have a 16 year old and an eight year old. I cant even fathom starting over again....but god I love babies!

I understand how you feel. Mine were 16 and 10 when we found out about our "surprise". Actually we usually call her our "bonus". Wouldn't trade her for anything but it was (and still is sometimes) a difficult transaction going back to the baby dependancy after getting to the points that the older kiddos were able to be left alone and were self-sufficient.

They used to be crappy, but now apparently they're pretty good.... gotta be better than the girls who would get caught 'stealing' the tests in the bathrooms But there is A LOT of stuff I wouldn't use in there, or I wonder how good a deal it is, bc the cleaning products are often smaller sizes too

I was talking to someone who worked at Dollarama. She said the most shoplifted thing from the Dollar store is the preg tests!
She thinks these girls have a lot of trouble ahead of them if they can't afford to buy a $1 preggy test and steal it instead

Our local Dollar Tree store keeps them under the counter. You have to ask for them at the register.
