Trip to Riverside -concerned re sleeping arrangements

I would be more concerned about bathroom issues. And sharing of TVs. It will be crowded in there though. I would really give some thought to spending a bit more and trying for the AllStar Family Suites..more bedding, two bathrooms, a kitchenette. You and your dh get a room to yourselves, with a queen bed and a TV, plus bathroom. The kids can sleep in the living room area, a double and two twins, plus a TV and a bathroom for them.
And much more storage I would assume.

Yes, there is more storage space. 2 closets, 2 dresser/TV stands and lots of extra staorage area in the kichenette.

The 5 of us have stayed a few times there and had plenty of room.. My 8 year old loved the trundle bed. Like someone else said, we like to save that money and spend it somewhere else.

It just depends on the family. I was thinking about the cruise line, and how small those staterooms are - but yet, they are laid out well and didn't seem bad.

There are people who I could sleep 5 in a room with, and there are people I couldn't sleep 2 in a room with. It depends on the family/party going.

Whatever you decide, it will be wonderful because you are with your family at the most magical place!

I like the idea of a cot brought in for your son.

We stayed at POP last year, and DH and I used the double bed (we have a queen at home). It was cozy, but fine. We were on vacation, so we were tired by the end of the day in the parks. No problem sleeping at all. Bathroom issues (2 teen girls) were resolved with "you are evening, you are morning and if you swim....you're clean!" Really, because of our family life, it was a non-issue.

You will know what works for your family. Go, and have a magical time! They grow up so fast!

We Have Stayed At Por In 2005 And 2006. My Then 11yr Old In 2005 And 12yr Old In 2006 Slept On The Trundle Bed. He Is Now 5'10" And He Will Be Sleeping On It Again When We Go In Sept 2007. Its Not A Queen Bed But I Have Slept On Worse When I Was A Child.

We stayed at POR the past two years and there is 5 of us. Trundle bed is not bad but I would suggest bringing an air mattress. We have three boys (11,9,7) and while you dont have alot of extra room it is not bad at all (besides how much time do you spend in the room anyway?)
