Trip to Canada - help needed please

I love the houses on the north shore, on that road on the way up to Grouse Mountain, bet they are expensive though :). My husband's family live in Couquitlam ( I think I spelt that right) its only about 20 mins. away from Vancouver on the train :).

Its a great place for us as my husband loves the mountains and I love the city, he has done the point check on the internet and we will both pass but we are putting it on hold until our daughters have done their A levels, so we have another 4 years to think about it :).

Just a few things to add:

If you do go on the Rocky Mountaineer make sure you upgrade to "Gold Leaf" class. Dad and I did that last year and the views and service were spectacular.

If you want to go across the Capilano Suspension Bridge then the only way back is to cross the bridge again, so if you're not too goo with heights make sure you can handle the crossing twice.

The Gastown area of Vancouver is a lovely place to sit at a pavement café with a coffee and watch the world go by.

Have a fantastic trip.

Thanks for the info - dont think I will possibly do the bridge as not that good with heights!!
Dont think we can afford to upgrade to gold leaf service on the train as its double the price!!! Would have loved to have been able to do it!
Sounds nice having a coffee and watching the world go by!!!
I am really finding it hard to work out what we really cant miss as we are unlikely to be able to go again but there is just so much I want to do (and as usual it involves £££££!
