Dolly yes I made the cup holders. I wanted something more than just a string to hold my drink since I actually take a cup in with me everyday. I used a cotton/flannel blend for the outside and polar fleece for the inside with a layer of batting in between. I quilted them to help hold the cool or hot inside. I love plaid and those are my favorites so I pieced them together. The two tone plaid are for me and my Mom. Lightning is for DS and the plaid with Green is for my Dad.
The bling are HotFix Rhinestones that I ordered the colors I wanted after I drew my designs on HotFix transfer paper and then placed each rhinestone on by hand ( I did each design 2 times once for me and once for my mom) I think I ended up using about 30 gross (each gross is 144 stones) on all of our shirts. After you place the stones on the design you iron them on the shirt according to the transfer paper directions. It's fairly simple and Nana and I wanted something different than the plain transfers that I do every year.
I am already working on some really neat ones for Christmas. I can't wait. I love the bling!
