Does anyone have any trip reports including a 2-3 year old posted that you can point me to? We're planning to go back to WDW when my DS will be 2 1/2 and I love reading trip reports to get an idea of what it might be like. We went last year when he was just 5 months old, so it will be a whole new experience!

I'm sadly too busy to do a trip report but i just came back from a week with my 2 yr old. we last took her at 15 months and even that was such a difference.

1) she liked to walk on her own a lot, but was still willing to go into the stroller- whereas at home she hates her stroller. she did also like to be held while waiting for rides, but her walking and stroller usage was much better than expected

2) she was not a fan of full characters (Minnie, Mickey etc) she would call them out and wave at them but when they came to the tables she would yell nononono and push them away. on the flip side face characters such as the princesses were a huge hit (see my avatar)

3) we went in September and I am pregnant so the heat for me and her were not fun. We got to the parks at opening and then took breaks about 12-4 for swimming/lunch and naps. We stayed at BLT and spent most of our time at MK and Epcot so that was good for us. Of course she loved the pool and little splash pad they had there.

4) normally she goes to bed at 8pm at home. however here she was a trooper and had no problem staying up until 9/930. one night we left the park around 1015/1030 (it was our last night and we were at the Halloween party) and she fell asleep on the walk home.

5) she is in a toddler bed at home, so we knew she would not do the pack n play- we set her up on the pull out couch and used the bed rails for the bottom half of the couch and she slept great and loved it

6) she ate way better than she does at home. she did drink a lot of juice because she hates water, and again with the heat the milk wouldn't stay but warm juice was okay. as soon as we got home she had no problems going back to mostly milk

there were some minor meltdowns and one night we did come home about 830 and put her to bed because you could just tell she needed the break from the parks and that was fine

we still got to ride every ride available to us- including my husband flying solo on the height/pregnancy restricted rides

if you have any specific questions let me know!

Thanks for the tips teddygurl28!

AZMermaid- that is a great TR for us to read! They are in a DVC room too, which is perfect. Thanks!!!
