Just got back from our short 3 day trip to WDW. Boy it sure is hot :sunny: It really cooled down after around 2 though. The lines were soooo short. Most of the time even if it said there was a 20 minute wait, we got right on the rides. This is the first time we got to do Soarin. Let me just say it was WONDERFUL!!! I really love that ride. Even the wait to get on Rock n Roll a coster was not long we got right on that also.

We stayed at the Poly, and I love the Poly, but I was sad that the water fall and fountains were not working in the main lobby. It was completely dry, I think they were having some trouble. I just love to see it when I come in though. We had dinner one night at 'Ohana, and we love 'Ohana, but I do not think we will return The service was awful, it took about 2 hours to complete the meal. We waited forever just to get the appetizers. I did not like the way things were brought out anymore either. Lets see if I can remember the way this went. First we got our wontons, (they were still yummy), and salad (it was gross). Then we got wings that was the most awful thing I have tasted, and these shrimp that you had to peel yourself. They were basted in some kind of sauce. By the time we got the meat, I was not really hungry, because it took so long. The meat was really dry when we got it. The dessert was bread pudding with Banana's Foster sauce, that was pretty good. I will not try it again though, unless they change the menu back.

These are the other places we ate which were fantastic: Kona (breakfast and dinner) the filet was awesome, Crystal Palace (breakfast) the french toast puff's are still out of this world, Mexico (lunch) soso not to special, Peco's Bill's (dinner) I just love that bar!!!, Rainforest (lunch) this is an all time favorite, the shrimp en brouchette is so good, and I had banana's foster crepe sooooo goood, Sci-Fi (dinner) it was o.k. we just love the cars.

For the most part it was a great little trip!!! I hope anyone else going soon has a wonderful time also.

Thanks for your report. Kona Cafe is one of my favorite places for breakfast. I'm looking forward to trying it for dinner during our October trip. Did you need to make a ps for dinner or is it possible to just walk up? My dh and I usually eat early so in the past we have lucked out at other places.

We did have PS, but we arrived early and was seated right away. The parks were really empty for my trip 9-14 -9-18. I have a friend there now though, and he said the parks have picked up a bit. He said most wait time on rides is 40 min's, where as I just walked right on. I heard Oct, had alot of bookings. So I guess I would say make your PS just in case. I always like to have them planned just in case. Have a great trip.
