Overnight, Disney went 100% Christmas. One day, Halloween, next day, Christmas! Weird!

Can they come to my house the day after Turkey Day?1?!??

However, we may still be here. . . soooooo. . .

p.s. the Fort is very full, but very quiet. Went to Pioneer Hall, around 3pm and we did not see a soul. Weird!

More to come...we are going to go on one of "Adventures at Disney" 's sights! We will need our waders for what is to come but... OH! did I really type that?;);)

Yep! He's correct that the Christmas decorations are starting to appear. There are still some halloween decorations up, but very few. Also - inflatable turkeys are popping up on every loop. Feisty Judy transformed her site from a pure halloween theme to a Fall Festival Theme virtually overnight. It's part of the "magic of the fort"!!

Alas - our magic is over tomorrow <sigh>.

We couldnt believe the transformation when we were out and about yesterday as well - The Mk had all the stores full of Christmas merch - unbelievable. We packed up and just left Orlando city limits now - so sad :( - Have a safe Trip home everyone!

Hoping to get new pics of Swamp Trail. Will post later

I heard the Osborne lights are up as well. They just did the cast member preview. Is it just me or is disney starting Christmas earlier and earlier each year. Didn't they used to transform it Thanksgiving night. Then before T-week. And now just after Halloween???

Have they done all the trees and lights already in the parks? I haven't pulled out my Thanksgiving deco yet even.

Disney started putting up the Osborne lights in September. It is overcast and about 70 and overnight it is in the high 50's or 60'.

MK and HS are done. Haven't seen anything at the other parks as of a couple of days ago. Nothing official here at the Fort yet, but DTD is pretty well decked out already.

Osborne and MVMCP start tonight. Last year Osborne didn't start until the day after Thanksgiving, but it went back to the earlier kickoff this year again. Hoping to catch it sometime in the next few days. :santa:

Well, I had a cute little comment about going back all typed, and then bam, DD was the one logged in. My moment is over....dang kids!

We saw Osborne lights last night 3 times it is a great show. It is in the 60's and 50's there over night

I'm cold we didn't bring long pants, but the worse thing is not having a back seat and a radio on are cart

Well if you would leave there, I know someone who would put those things on your cart. Maybe you need a heater also.

Yes, it use to be truly magical when everything was transformed Thanksgiving night. But I think since they start the party so early now, MK must be decorated for the party. And, they are short-handed now compared to years ago. They worked everyone all night long to get the parks decorate all over night, now it's done in pieces.
