Trip report-top ten moments at Aulani

I loved reading your report! We have been going back and forth between Aulani or a cruise in concierge class on the Wish for our 30th anniversary next year and your top 10 list makes me lean toward Aulani. Thanks for sharing!

This was a fun quick snapshot to learn from and an easy read. Thank you! Loved it!

Where can I learn more about the stargazing? My husband has a couple degrees in Astronomy and I'd love - I think he'd love - to see stars/night sky from a different part of the world!

Look under activities on the website or on the app. It's not offered every night so I would go to the Pau Hola room and sign up as soon as you can. The same people do their program at the 4 seasons on the other nights so that's a backup plan. He let us look at about 6 or 7 stars as we went through the life cycle from baby stars to dying stars.

Thanks! I do apologize for, you know, not doing the bare minimum myself!

I wasn't upset, just pointing you to the info. There is so much to research when you go that far away. Trust me I understand!🥰

Oh, gosh, no! It was more of me, poking at me, for failing to even do the littlest bit of effort and making you do it instead. I should know better. But thank you!!

(To be fair, my husband also was mocking me last night for planning a trip that's "so far away.")

Check out Maui as a possibility….look up Haleakala stargazing and/or observatories.

Great report! Do you have any pics or more info on the sunset cruise? Is it walkable? What kind of a boat is it? It looks like drinks and food are served. Is there a restroom on board (important things, I need to know, LOL!) .

It looks like a wonderful way to end our Alauni stay and celebrate our anniversary! I never would have thought of something like this.

Sorry not much of a picture. It's a large catamaran and you enter from a dock not from the water. They ask you to take your shoes off and there are places where you can sit at tables but most people spend their time up on the deck. They have a limited variety of alcohol but are very generous with it. Plus we had a little cheese board and a little cup of shrimp cocktail. It was about 2 hours long and fun.
