Trip Report : Tinks 18th

Day 1 Out Bound flight August the 7th

Finally Tuesday 7th August have been countin down to this for like 6 months Nice easy drive to the airport 40 mins singing favourite disney songs counting down miles to airport. More and More excited with every mile Checked into the airport with two hours before the flight which flew by surprisingly never normally does.
HORIBLE, DREADFUL flight never felt so sick in my life Quick though a 50 minute flight bags were also off quick. Luck seems to be on my side or is that about to change ???

Getting from CDG to Disneyland resort Paris all i can say is get the Disney bus its a gift sent from heaven. Well we took the train Mum read some where it took 10 minutes (she dint hear the wend of this all holiday) more like 2 hours give or take a few minutes it was hot sweaty and over crowded
with a change half way not what you want when your so close to Disney but yet so far

Any way walked to the hotel (santa fe) what a beautiful walk i was so excited I made it i mean WE made it taking in everything the shops the scenery hotles are amasing deffintly the pretiest disney by far.
I dont know if any body else who stayed at the santa fe thought this but its a very weird set out and not very easy to find way around (reception wasnt marked out clear enough). Checked in chucked bags down and me and Buzz are off to the park.

I think we just hit the end of the parade or something there was a mob of people coming out and down main street (luckily reading this forum i knew about the arcade behind the shops and flew down). Striaght to Space mountin WOW i loved it AWSOME ride love it love.

The rest of the Disney family met us at Pirates of the caribean to get some tea we only had a counter service as we SOOOO hungry! We then headed for phantom manor much better then WDW, Thunder mountin wow that was soo much better as well I love DISNEYLAND its won me over deffintly. Then headed back to main street for the fire works now this im very DISappointed about nobody colud see the dancers before the fireworks i think was ver pointless just caused alot of pushing and shoving. But the fireworks are stunning

Then on the walk back to the santa fe we stopped in the shops WOW its lush here. Back at the hotel fell straight to sleep was out of it much deserved sleep

Sounds like you took the RER instead of the TGV. The TGV takes 10 minutes (at most!) the RER goes through Paris city centre and takes forever.

Sounds like you had a great first day. Pirates, Space Mountain, Phantom Manor and Thunder Mountain - you did all my favourites on your first day!

Great start to your report We've never been keen on going on the TGV as it definitely sounds a lot of faffing about. Private shuttle or VEA for us when we are not driving
