Day 4 started with me being woken up at 6am by my wife who was busy talking in her sleep

At 8am (after listening to her planning what we would be doing that day), I woke her up and we decided to sort ourselves out before heading to breakfast. We went straight to Fantasyland for breakfast that day and after spending a few minutes searching for a table, we sat down and ate. Helen wanted to plan our day, but I told her that she had already done that in her sleep and that what she suggested had actually been a good idea.

We left the restaurant about 9:30 and we headed over towards the princess stage so that Helen could get a few more autographs and photo's. We saw a lot of characters that we hadn't seen on any of the other days, so we met them as well.

We went to PM after that and I finally found a Hidden Mickey! ::MickeyMo
I have spent ages trying to find one of these and I felt really pleased with myself. Needless to say, I spent the rest of the trip trying to find others (which I didn't manage :sad2:)

After lunch at King Ludwigs in Disney Village - great food by the way - we headed into the studio's for a ride on the RnR coaster which is always good fun. We headed round the back of the Hollywood building site and went on the Studio Tram Tours. The Catastrophe Canyon didn't work first time, so we had to go round again.

We then went and watched the cinema parade which was good although not a touch on the once upon a dream parade in the Mgaic Kingdom.

It was starting to get fairly cold by this point, so we decide that we would have a proper look around the shops at Disney Village whilst it was quiet. I bought Helen a giant Kenai and Koda stuffed animal from one of the shops which she loved.

We had decided earlier that we would eat at the Beaver Creek Tavern that night. I wish we hadn't bothered.

We had reservations for 1930hrs and at 1915, we got to the entrance of it. There was absolutley no order or logical queuing system, so we went up to the CM on duty and asked if we could go in. We were told in no uncertain terms that we would have to wait until 1930. This wasn't a problem until we saw people going in with 2030hrs bookings.

We eventually got seated at 1945hrs and tried to order our food. The waitress didn't speak English, so that wasn't the best start. We tried to order a cocktail - the same one that my wife had ordered at the Redwood Bar and Lounge a couple of days earlier and they came out with a Margherita for her! After a few more attempts and the waitress telling us off for trying to order something complicated, we ordered our food.

The food was cold and unediable. We sent it back and it came out again burnt to the core. We were really disappointed with the whole experience of that retaurant as we had only ever read good things about it.

We couldn't eat the food that they brought us and we left after making a complaint to the manager.

We ended up going to Annettes for food and had a fantastic meal. The service was top notch and nothing like the first day that we were there.

We then went to the Sports bar and had a couple of drinks before heading back to the Hotel and getting our heads down before the next days excitement.

Day 5 to follow

Congrats on the hidden mickey!

Shame about your evening meal.... What a carry on!!

Oh no - I'm getting so disappointed for you as I read on through your TR. :sad2: I'm amazed that you have decided to go back after so many upsets.

Well we had a fantastic time when we went in 2006, so we just put this down to being a bit unlucky this time and catching staff at the wrong time. Me and my wife used to work in the leisure industry (Center Parcs), so we have a bit of sympathy for those that work there full time.

It was not aas bad as when we went in 2005 and our room was broken into at the Santa Fe and loads of our things were stolen! We were suprised we went back at all after that

Yikes!! What a horrible experience.
