Trip Report: Has DCL lost its Mojo?

Most of the desserts I have to agree on-looked better than they tasted. We found this also on RC and inMexico and Jamaica--better for not gaining weight. We did not love the food his past cruise and do wish DCL would switch up activities, etc--but we still had the best service and will go back

I'm sorry you were disappointed in your trip. We had a similarly bad trip on the Wonder in November. Our biggest complaint was our servers . . . they were really bad - dinner was stressful every night. It was our 4th time on DCL, so I knew how good it could be, but this last trip was wreck. I definitely thought DCL had lost its Mojo. Then last month, we sailed NCL to Alaska and it was better than our last trip on the Wonder and much less expensive. As soon as we got back from Alaska, I cancelled our DCL Baltic. I just couldn't see spending the kind of money DCL wanted when other cruise lines could be just as good for a lot less money. I'm still booked on the Magic in December. I think I'm going to keep that reservation, but if its not significantly better than our last cruise on the Wonder, we're done with DCL for a while.

Maybe we should stop tipping!! Then they might get the hint! hehe! Start now- that way by the time i cruise in Dec- they will be whipped back into shape and give us great service! ~Tinksdreamwishes!
