Well the Cruise for our 13th anniv. went very well.
Thursday: Pulled into the Port and checked in and received our returning geust gifts which included two lanyards and pins that went for trading.
Boarded the ship and went to brunch which was awesome as usual and then headed for our stateroom. We were in 6641 which was smaller because we did not bring the kids this time, but it was perfect for the two of us.
Started out by unpacking the liquor we brought on board and started preparing for the trip with a few drinks. In our state room was more gifts for being returning cruisers which included cups, bags, flags a magnet and also a Happy Anniv. card.
DW did well with her mecklazine and did not get sick at all!!!
The first night we decided to hit Palo's which was excellent and before dinner we went to watch the Hercules show. First time seeing this show and it was great! I don't think I stopped laughing the entire time.
The rest of the evening was walking around the deck trying to get use to not having the kids around. We went to watch Pirates 3 in the Buena Vista Theater at 11:45 but trying to watch a long movie in that theater was not comfortable. Last year we watched Pirate 2 it was in the Walt Disney Theater and it was much more enjoyable. So we bailed about halfway through the movie.
Next day was spent in Nassau. We decided to hit the town early since we have been there before and decided to hit a few shops. Hit Costa Del Sol for my daughter's nail polish and then to pick up some rum. Also hit the strawmarket for some smaller gifts for family.
The rest of the day we spent relaxing at the adult pool and enjoying some drinks.
That evening we went to Tritons for dinner and then watching Pirates 2 on the new big screen next to the Goofy Pool.
About 11:30 or so we saw Atlantis in view...Hmmmm...We left Atlantis much earlier for Castway......Well leaning over the rail you can see an ambulance had pulled up and someone being placed and a family member being moved into the ambulance also. Immediately after that the ship pulled out for Castaway.
That night I received a text message from DD saying the AC in the house was broke so I called sis to have some check it out and good thing it was only the capacitor. So there goes some international charges....
The next day we left for Castaway early and the private side for adults, waited till lunch at there then headed back to the ship for the rest of the afternoon and more lounging by the pool and having more drinks.
That night we went to the Dreams show and then off to dinner at Animators.
The cruise was a nice getaway, but we did miss our kids and decided next time they will go on the cruise again.
As usual it was a lot of fun meeting people and I even heard someone mentioned the Dis while waiting for Tritons.
