Day 1: We arrived 12/15 in our Class C Itasca Cambria 29'. Checked in at 2pm, registration was extremly smooth. We were in the 200 Loop and by 3pm camp was set, including the recently constructed Mickey Lamp Post (Thanks to all the Disers, my DW couldn't live without one). The decorated campsites were excellent.

With 4 kids and first time aunt and uncle along for the first night, everything went great. We couldn't get a golf cart the first night, so we biked around FW and attended Chip and Dale's Sing-a-long after dinner of brats and dogs at the campsite.

Day 2: On 12/16 we left the campsite and checked into our cabins which was ready at 11:30 am --- unbelievable, and it was one of the remodeled cabins to boot. The remainder of the family arrived at 12 noon. This included 2 more brothers, families and two sets of Grandparents, 19 in all. All three cabins were on the 2300 loop and adjacent to each other. Disney didn't miss a thing for our Grand Gathering. At 2pm we left FW by ferry for a direct trip to MK and for MVMC.

As we waited for the MVMC parade, a cast member noticed my 10 year old DS looking board and picked him out of the crowd for a Mickey Mouse cheer off between the two sides of the street. What a great start to the week.

Day 3: We went to Epcot were same DS was "targeted" by Crush at Turtle Talk and 8 year old DS was chosen for a demonstration at Imagination. Dinner at Biergarten for the whole group and another successfull evening.

Day 4: MGM, crowds were low until after lunch. RRRC and TT were each rode numerous times. DW missed the day due to a sick DS8. (Which we picked up from a child on the FW bus who decided to share her dinner with everyone by way of throwing up on our feet. But as momma use to say, never apologize, those who have kids understand and those that don't never will) The golf cart made the day much more tolerable.

The Osbourne Lights were the highlight of the day. I was totally amazed.

Day 5: Back to the MK and again the crowds didn't show up until after lunch.

Day 6: Animal Kingdom was our last full day. While we were waiting at the turnstiles, I lost site of DS8, I called his name and all of sudden the small palm tree next to use started moving and calling his name. It was hilarious to watch my son react to this potted palm tree calling his name and moving towards him. The crowds were low and very managable. We rode KS and EE with no waits. The DS10 and Myself were chosen by a couple of street performers for a story in Asia. Uncles and Aunts 3 and 4 received Dream Fast Passes for the day, but really didn't need them.

We ended the night at Hoop Dee Doo Review

Day 7: Checked out of the Cabins at 11 am and hit the road for Williamsburg, VA to join DW's family.

I am in the room writing this due to DS10 now sharing in the stomach bug his younger brother experienced.

Food for Thought:

1. Enjoyed the cabin, but wish we had stayed in RV. I just missed being with the other campers.
2. The crowds have picked up at Christmas over the past couple of years, but they are still much lower than the rest of the year.
3. A golf cart may not be a must, but I will not be back without renting one.
4. FW is my new favorite resort at WDW!!! We are already planning to return either in April or Sept.

Sorry for the length of this report, but I wanted to share the highlights. Thanks everyone for the tips, ideas and insights.

Merry Christmas!!!:santa:

Glad to hear you a great time and enjoyed the fort but I'm also sorry to hear about the kids getting sick, hopefully next trip they will all stay healthy.
