Day 4

On our final full day at Disney our group split up and went to three of the four corners of WDW. Clarke & Katie ran over to the Magic Kingdom to see a few things that we missed when we were there. David & Heather went back to the Animal Kingdom to explore a few of the areas we didn’t get a chance to spend much time in and Brigitte and myself went back to EPCOT with the a single goal in mind, Beers Around the World.

We began our morning by heading straight over to the Aquarium to see the new Crush attraction which was very interesting and really made the kid inside crack a smile much like watching a Disney film for the first time. After that we spend a couple of hours shopping before heading to the World Showcase to be our self appointed task for the day.

Brigitte and I skipped over Canada as we knew we would be coming back there for dinner that evening and stopped in the Rose & Crown for a pint and to lay out anything that was a must do for the day. We only made it thru to Morocco before my cell phone range with the call that everyone was on their way to meet for lunch at Chefs de France.

We were greeted and promptly shown to our table where our waiter greeted us with rapid fire English but with such a think French accent that we couldn’t understand anything that he was saying. As luck would have it Brigitte is French Canadian so she got our meal moving along with almost no delay with equally fast French. The meal and wine was good as usual but the attention by our server was much slower then I have experience at any meal in Disney and if I were anywhere over then The Happiest Place On Earth I would have been much more upset then I was.

When lunch was finally finished we all once again broke up to do our own thing and Brigitte and I once again resumed our mission.

Our party once again reformed around 8:30 for our 8:45 PS at Le Cellier and we once again indulged in a wonderful meal at one of our favorite Disney restaurants. Since we were seated so late we missed Illuminations and had the enjoyable if a little disconcerting experience of walking out of Le Cellier well after 10 PM. It is a little weird walking thru the World Showcase when you can not see another group of people anywhere. We did make it back to the international gateway after a very slow and enjoyable walk thru a deserted park and made our way back to our Studio at the BWVs and some much needed shut eye after successfully completing Beers Around the World.

The trip home

We checked out around 10:30 AM and got all of our stuff packed back in the Jeep and headed north. As a bonus to the trip home we made it past Jacksonville, FL without even having to slow down which I think is a first ever.

Well that is all I have and if you made it all the way to the end of this lengthy trip report I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did reliving it.
