DD- 7- loves Princesses especially Belle
After a long first day in the park we had settled down to a good nights sleep but not before DH had set the alarm on his mobile for 6.30 to be ready to leave for our Character Breakfast at 8.00.
We didnt seem to have been asleep that long when we were rudely woken. Ring tone is Great Escape and it seemed to be getting louder as we struggled to find it in the dark. We looked at the clock and realised it was only 4.30. Network had decided to send a message to DH!!!
We tried to get back to sleep and had just started to doze off when the alarm went off. This time it was 5.30. DH claimed his mobile had set its self to French time over night!!! Strange that we had been in France over a week and it had chosen that night to change its own time!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyhow wasnt worth going back to sleep so made DH get up and make cup of tea. I dont do mornings remember and this was 2nd very early morning in a row. Aagh!!!
DD (7) slept through it and had to be woken at 7.00.
We decided to walk to Café Mickeys rather than get the bus. We arrived and were seated upstairs. It was the first time we had been there and so were unsure what to expect.
Breakfast was really good- the scrambled egg was delicious and there was a really good variety of food on offer. We had just got our food when the characters started coming round. First Pinocchio, then Pluto, then the great mouse himself. Mickey seemed to spend quite a while at our table and insisted on a photo with DH and myself as well as DD. Then Friar Tuck appeared. We finished eating and were about to leave when Goofy (and someone else- I think it was Mr Smee) came upstairs. By then quite a few people had gone. On the way out we saw Minnie downstairs but didnt stop to see her so werent sure if she went upstairs as well. All the children were very good and stayed at their tables for the characters to come to them rather than following them around.

We had planned to spend today at Studios but it was still early so we headed for the main park to take advantage of some EMH.
We again went to Fantasyland where we rode Pinocchio which was open this time and then the Carrousel. DD then persuaded me to take her on the teacups. DH didnt come on the rides but took some photos around the park instead.
We then headed out towards the studios. It was nice to be heading out of the park when everyone else was crowding in.
The studios didnt seem as busy at first. We wanted to watch Cinemagique as we had missed this last year so planned to go to the first show at 11.00 so we decided to spend the first hour just milling round and looking for characters.

We saw Minnie first where there was a nice orderly (short) queue, then Chicken Little. A small procession of characters then came out of the gate just where we were standing led by Donald and Daisy then Goofy. Then came Chip and Dale and a car with Hollywood stars in. DD got lots of autographs and pictures. She insisted on kissing all the characters either on the cheek or nose and quite a few responded by pretending to be delighted or embarrassed. Daisy guided her towards a bench to sit down with her.
We hadnt even got out of the entrance yet and already we seemed to have done and seen so much. We went through Studio 1 and saw Jessie from Toy Story. Another photo stop. Then we saw Mickey by his caravan. There was only a very small queue again compared to in the main park.
We watched cinemagique which was brilliant then DH decided there was time to take DD on Rock and Roller Coaster before Moteurs Action.
DD had never been on a coaster like this one before but she loves BTM and wanted to try it. Theres no way I was going to go on so I wandered round and looked in a few shops while they used VIP fast pass to go on.
She came off looking rather green and had hated it but we tried to encourage her by saying she had been so brave to try it as I wouldnt.
We then went to Moteurs show which as usual was excellent not the same when youve seen it before though as you know whats going to happen.
We then decided to get a snack from the Backlot Express and sit outside and watch the parade while eating. We got ham and cheese baguettes. We had just finished eating when the parade was about to start. We had got a table near the fence but several people had come to stand in front of us. We tried to lift DD onto the fence so she could see better but the family in front (think they were French) urged her to go in front of them.

I thought the parade was really good. When Cruella Devil walked past DD gave her thumbs down sign and so she tapped her on the head with her cigarette holder.
We had expected the parade to start near where we were sitting but instead it ended there. This was good though as at the end several of the characters came back to shake hands with the crowd- Mary Poppins, Bert, Chip and Dale, Gepetto, and Captain Hook. The CMs were holding a rope just a little way back from where we were stopping people pushing forward so we were in the right place.
We then went to do Armageddon (not as intense or loud as I thought it might be) TV Studios (boring), Animagique and Flying Carpets (both good).
We decided to go for a drink in En Coulisse and look in some shops before heading out of the park to the Village where we had tickets for Buffalo Bills.
Due to a mix up when we were paying for our trip and the problems it caused we had been given free tickets to Buffalo Bills as well as VIP fast passes. We were really pleased with this as we fancied going to BBs but didnt want to be disappointed when it cost so much. We were in Green section which really pleased DD as it was Montana and she loves Hannah Montana. We did explain it had nothing to do with that show but it kept her happy having the same name. It was made even better as we won and so all got a chocolate gold coin as a prize.

I will do a separate report but just to say we thought it was brilliant.
When the show was finished we still had time to go back into the park and do more rides. We stopped on route to look at the dragon in the castle.
We then headed for Adventure land where we did PoC twice and then to Small World which we also did twice. I do like these 2 rides at the end of the day- calming and relaxing and easy on the feet especially as the queues are always really short or non existant.
It was then time to head out of the park back to the hotel pausing on route to look at the 3 fairies in the fireplace in the shop.
Another long day and we still had to do all the packing ready to leave the hotel room early the next morning before another fun day ahead of us.
Goofy was set to wake us up and we collapsed into bed.
